A Social Enterprise, Not Just a Media Platform
Purpose Media CBR operates as a social enterprise. That means our journalism and storytelling are not dependent on who can afford to pay for coverage. We do not fund our work through sponsored stories.
Instead, revenue is generated through working alongside purpose-driven organisations to strengthen their strategy, governance, engagement and impact. This includes advisory support, capacity building, digital innovation and sector-strengthening projects.
The stories help people find support, and the behind the scenes projects help services work better and more effectively for our community.
The income from this work allows us to:
Produce independent community stories
Amplify small organisations with limited marketing budgets
Invest in lived-experience contributors
Develop practical tools that improve how people navigate services
Our commercial activity sits behind the scenes. Our community storytelling remains in front.
